Tips sought to find Detroit man missing 3 weeks

The Detroit News

Detroit police are working to find a 25-year-old man who has been missing more than three weeks.

Relatives haven’t seen Eric Garr since about 9 a.m. June 5 inside their home in the 1100 block of Field on the east side, according to a statement from the Detroit Police Department.

His sister, who also lives there, told investigators he “has left the location in the past for a few days but has always maintained contact and this time he has not been seen or heard from,” the release read. “Mr. Garr is said to be in good physical and mental condition.”

Garr is described as African-American, 5-foot-10, 180 pounds, with brown eyes, black hair, a beard and a light complexion.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Detroit Police Department’s 7th Precinct Detective Unit at (313) 596-5152 or (313) 596-1616.
