Detroit’s 36th District Court is extending its hours one day a week, court officials announced Wednesday.

The court will be open on Wednesdays until 7 p.m., beginning next week.

The extended hours coincide with the extended business hours for secretary of state offices. The court’s services during the extended hours will be limited to customers who are paying traffic tickets and those who are reporting for probation.

Payments for other tickets and fines are still at any time at 36thdistrictcourt.org.
