Drive-by shooting in Detroit leaves 3 wounded

Three men are stable after being shot early Friday morning on Detroit’s east side, according to police.

About 1:40 a.m., a gray SUV pulled up in front of the three victims on the 18400 block of Algonac and someone inside began firing at the victims, according to Detroit Police Officer Nicole Kirkwood.

The victims were identified as being 27, 29 and 30 years old. A description of the shooter is unknown.

The investigation is ongoing, Kirkwood said.
