Detroit — Three men in their 20s were shot in broad daylight in front of a house on Detroit's west side Saturday afternoon, police said.

The men, one 26, the two others both 27, were standing in front of a house on the 16500 block of Prevost -- east of the Southfield Freeway, south of McNichols -- when a black Dodge Charger pulled up.

A man, who police say is a black male in his 20s, slim and with braids, and was wearing a red shirt, exited the Charger, fired shots, and got back in the rear passenger seat of the Charger.

The car fled in a unknown direction.

The 26-year-old victim is in critical condition at last report, and the conditions of the other two victims were not immediately known, said Officer Shanelle Williams, a spokeswoman for the Detroit Police Department.
