Crime Stoppers of Michigan is offering up to $1,000 for tips leading to a habitual offender who fled his Detroit court hearing last week.

Arzelle Neeley was last seen Sept. 20 at the Frank Murphy Hall of Justice, facing a trial in courtroom 503 with Judge James Callahan for weapons violations, officials said.

“When they broke for lunch, he never came back,” authorities said in a statement Tuesday.

Neeley is believed to have removed his ankle tether, which later was found on Interstate 75, according to the release.
