Man gunned down on Detroit street
A man fatally shot on Detroit’s east side on Saturday afternoon was last seen talking with three men, police said.
The shooting took place about 6:30 p.m. on the 5400 block of Holcomb — north of East Warren, southeast of Gratiot — on the city’s east side, Detroit Police Officer Jennifer Moreno said on Sunday.
Moreno said people in the area at the time said they’d seen the victim talking to three men on the street. Then five or six gunshots rang out, and the man was seen down on the sidewalk.
By the time police arrived, the man was dead.
Police have no description of the suspects and do not have the victim identified, buthe is believed to be in his 30s, Moreno said.
