Police seek assistance in locating missing 14-year-old
The Detroit Police Department is asking the public’s help in locating a missing 14-year-old.
Niguel Curney was last seen by his mother at their home in the 15700 block of Winthrop St., on December 20, 2016 between 10:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Niguel became upset with a decision that was made and left home.
Niguel's mother, Gennetta Curney, reported that Niguel has a history of running away from home, but would eventually return. She is concerned because that hasn’t happened this time.
Niguel is described as a black male, 14 years of age, medium brown complexion, black afro, and brown eyes. Clothing description and height/weight was not provided.
Niguel is in good physical and mental condition.
