Police: Man fires gun into air, fatally shot

A 26-year-old man was fatally shot outside a club on Detroit’s east side early Christmas morning, police said.

The man was found shot multiple times in the parking lot of a Club Dynasty on the 12200 block of Harper at about 2:30 a.m., police said.

Medics took the man to an area hospital, but he died from his injuries.

Witnesses told police they saw the victim firing a gun into the air before he was shot, but there is no description of who shot him.
