Detroit police are looking for two suspects wanted in connection with a double shooting last week on the city’s northwest side.

Two people were walking near West Grand and Wildemere at 7:50 p.m. Jan. 3 when the suspects approached them on foot and confronted them, investigators said in a statement.

One of the men — described as a light-complected African-American man in his 20s, 5-foot-11, 160 pound, wearing stonewashed jeans and a Gucci belt — “produced a handgun and announced a hold-up,” the release read.

A struggle ensued and the man fired shots, wounding both of the victims, officials said.

The alleged shooter and another man — described as a 22-year-old African-American with a light complexion, 5-foot-9, 130 pounds, wearing a brown jacket — fled on foot south on Wildemere.

“These suspects are considered armed and dangerous,” police said Friday.

Investigators have released a composite sketch of the man who allegedly fired shots.

Anyone who has seen the suspects or knows their whereabouts is asked to call the Detroit Police Department at (313) 596-2260 or Crime Stoppers of Michigan at (800) SPEAK-UP.
