Cops: Nude man found fatally shot in Detroit

A unidentified man was found dead and nude Tuesday morning on the sidewalk of a northwest Detroit neighborhood, according to police.

Units were dispatched around 7:20 a.m. to Vassar and Faust, near West Seven Mile and the Southfield Freeway, Officer Nicole Kirkwood said.

"Officers arrived to the location and observed the man on the sidewalk, lying face up, with no clothes," Kirkwood said. "He was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds."

Responding medics pronounced the man dead at the scene, Kirkwood added.

Police have no suspects and the investigation remains ongoing.
