Cops seek help locating person linked to fatal assault
Detroit police are asking for the public’s help in locating a person of interest who may have information in connection with the fatal assault of a man found Sunday on the city’s west side.
The body of the man was found around 1:46 p.m. at a residence in the 7300 block of Dexter. The victim, who was between the ages of 40-50, was found on the floor in an upstairs bedroom. The man had trauma to his body and was found lying unresponsive. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police have not released the name of the man who was killed, but have identified the person of interest as 44-year-old Antonio Stone.
No other information was provided by Detroit police about the case or how the victim died.
