Man found dead in home's bedroom

The death of a man found in the bedroom of a home on Detroit's west side is being investigated as a homicide.

Police said the man, believed to be between 45 to 50 years old, was found in the upstairs bedroom of the house in the 7300 block of Dexter,  just east of Grand River, at about 1:46 p.m Sunday.

Police said the man, believed to be between 45 to 50 years old, was found in the upstairs bedroom of the house in the 7300 block of Dexter,  just east of Grand River, at about 1:46 p.m Sunday.

He was found laying on the floor with trauma to his body, and medics pronounced him dead at the scene.

The Wayne County Medical Examiner will work identify the man and cause of death.
