Detroit police are working to identify a man found dead Friday outside a home near Palmer Park with a cord around his torso.
A resident returned to the 17000 block of Omira at about 7:25 p.m. and spotted an “unresponsive white male on the side of her home, face down,” investigators said in a statement.
Officers determined the deceased appeared to be a man between 40 and 50 years old. He was found with a cord tied around his torso “and appeared to have been possibly dumped at the scene,” authorities said.
Other details, including a possible cause of death, were not released Friday night.
Anyone with information on the man’s identity is asked to call the Detroit Police Department at (313) 596-2260.
