Detroit police seek missing adult care patient

Detroit police are asking for the public’s help in locating a 64-year-old man who walked away from an adult care facility Monday morning.

Larry Acton was last seen at 8 a.m. leaving the facility in the 18000 block of Freeland. According to police, Acton suffers from memory loss and partially damaged vision due to a stroke.

He may have been heading to Westland to join a girlfriend at an unknown location, according to police.

Acton was last seen wearing a black jacket, white pullover sweater and blue pants.
