Cops seek help to ID suspects linked to shooting
Detroit Police are seeking help in identifying two male suspects seen shooting a victim during an armed robbery attempt on the city's west side on Rosedale Ct. on March 23, 2017 at approximately 6 p.m.
Detroit police released photos and video Tuesday in a request for help in identifying two male suspects wanted in a shooting of a 50-year-old man on the city’s west side.
The shooting took place during a robbery attempt around 6 p.m. March 23 in the 300 block of Rosedale Court, according to police.
In a video released Tuesday, two suspects riding in a newer-model black sedan are seen pulling up to a man who is placing items into the back of a vehicle. One of the suspects approaches the victim and appears to attempt to rob him at gunpoint, police said.
“A struggle ensued, resulting in the suspect firing several shots at the victim, striking and wounding him,” police said in a statement.
The suspects got back into their vehicle and drove away, police said.
The victim was hospitalized in serious condition Tuesday.
Both suspects had weapons, police said.
