2 suspects sought in nonfatal Woodward shooting
Two male suspects are wanted in the nonfatal shooting of a 23-year-old man this month that played out in broad daylight and within plain sight of Woodward.
According to police, a driver and passenger of a Mercury Mountaineer arrived around noon March 11 at a parking lot in the 2500 block of Woodward.
In a video police released Tuesday in attempts to spur the public’s help, a man can be seen running up to the vehicle and entering through a passenger door. While inside, the suspect assaulted and shot the victim, police said.
The driver of the Mountaineer had exited the vehicle prior to the shooting, according to police.
After the shooting, the suspect left with another male suspect in a gray Chrysler 200.
The victim was hospitalized. No other injuries were reported.
