Suspect sought in Detroit robbery, shooting

Detroit police are seeking tips to find a man wanted in a robbery and shooting last month on the city’s east side.

Authorities on Monday said they have issued an arrest warrant for Kennie Dwayne Jones. He is accused of robbing and shooting a 22-year-old man on April 26 in the 5300 block of Lakepointe.

The victim was critically wounded, investigators said.

Jones faces multiple charges, including assault with intent to murder, robbery and felony firearm. Jones, 27, has been known to drive a black Dodge Durango.

“This suspect is to be considered armed and dangerous,” police said Monday.
