1 killed in double shooting in Detroit

Detroit police are searching for the driver of a yellow Corvette seen leaving the scene of an east side shooting that left one man dead and another in critical condition.

The shooting took place Saturday about 6 p.m., on the 5800 block of Woodhall, which is south of Harper and east of Cadieux. Officer Jennifer Moreno said that neighbors heard shots fired in the area. When the gunfire ended,  two men were found shot  outside. They were privately taken to an area hospital, but one man, 26, died from his injuries.

The other man, whose was not immediately known, was in critical condition at last report.
