On Sunday afternoon, Detroit Police Department released a video of the suspect in a shooting that left a 33-year-old man dead on the city’s east side early Wednesday morning.

It was about 2:30 a.m. Wednesday when the victim’s body was found, surrounded by shell casings, in an empty field on the 17500 block of Chester, just south of Harper. At the time, police had no description of the suspects. Now they have video.

Police had little information on the shooting initially, but now believe the man had been in an “establishment” in the area and was followed out to where he was later found fatally shot.
