DMC promotes three women to serve three hospitals
Detroit Medical Center announced three women will be promoted to executive positions at DMC Detroit Receiving Hospital, Harper University Hospital and Hutzel Women’s Hospital.
Tina Wood was promoted to chief operating officer of DMC Detroit Receiving Hospital; Bridgett Feagin was promoted chief financial officer overseeing DMC Detroit Receiving, Harper University and Hutzel Women's Hospitals; and Dr. Patricia Wilkerson-Uddyback will oversee DMC Detroit Receiving Hospital as chief medical officer.
The team will jointly serve all three hospitals: DMC Detroit Receiving Hospital, Harper University Hospital and Hutzel Women's Hospital, all in Detroit. Previously, two separate executive teams oversaw the hospitals.
“Each one of them is an accomplished healthcare leader, passionately committed to patient care, organizational excellence and a strong culture of safety,” Scott Steiner, CEO of DMC Detroit Receiving, Harper University and Hutzel Women’s Hospitals, said in a statement.
“Their impressive experience in driving successful results in their respective areas of expertise will help us stay well positioned for the future,” Steiner said.
Wood was previously chief operating and financial officer of DMC Harper University and Hutzel Women’s Hospital. Feagin was chief financial officer of United Way for Southeastern Michigan and before that she spent 20 years serving at DMC. Wilkerson-Uddyback was chief medical officer of DMC Harper University and Hutzel Women’s Hospitals.
