2 sought in Detroit fatal shooting
Detroit police released surveillance images of two suspects wanted in connection with a fatal shooting last month on the city’s west side.
The pair approached a male walking toward them near the 19100 block of West McNichols at about 9:30 p.m. on July 19, investigators said in a statement.
Then, “one of the suspects fatally shot him,” the release read.
Authorities do not yet have information on what motivated the shooting.
The suspects were captured on a nearby camera that is part of the Detroit Police Department’s Project Green Light program, in which business owners pay for high-definition surveillance monitored at the DPD Real-Time Crime Center.
Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call Detroit police at (313) 596-2260 or Crime Stoppers of Michigan at 1-800- SPEAK-UP.
