Detroit — Police are seeking tips from the public to find a driver wanted in connection with a fatal hit and run reported last weekend on the city’s west side.

The suspect kept driving. The victim, identified only as a 55-year-old man, was pronounced dead.

Investigators on Tuesday released surveillance footage of the vehicle involved, described as a light blue 2005-09 Ford Mustang convertible with a tan or brown top. The car should have front-end damage.

Anyone who recognizes it or has any information related to the incident is asked to contact the Detroit Police Fatal Squad unit at (313) 596-2280. Anonymous tips can also be submitted through Crime Stoppers of Michigan at 1-800-SPEAK-UP.
