Detroit — Police are searching for a 16-year-old girl who has been missing since Friday morning.

Authorities say Qudss Alwahami was last seen at 10 a.m. Friday at the family’s home on the 1000 block of Ethel Street. Alwahami left the home without permission after arguing with her sister.

Family members tell police they are worried because this is the first time the teen has gone missing.

Qudss is 5-foot-5, 110 pounds and has brown eyes and brown hair, according to police.

The teen was last seen wearing red pajamas, a black coat and black boots.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to call the Detroit Police Department’s Fourth Precinct at (313) 596-5400 or (313) 596-5440 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK UP.
