Argument ends in nonfatal shooting

Detroit Police are searching for a suspect involved in a nonfatal shooting on the city's northwest side early Saturday.

Police responded to the incident at 1:30 a.m. near Evergreen and Lyndon Avenue where a 56-year-old man was shot in the shoulder.

The victim reported he was repairing a house in the area to be rented out to the suspect when an argument occurred and the suspect shot him, police said. The victim was privately taken to Sinai Grace Hospital where he is being treated. 

Police are looking for a 45-year-old man who was wearing a jogging suit and armed with a handgun.
