Police seek 2 in fatal east side shooting
A 31-year-old man is dead and a 30-year-old woman injured after an early Friday shooting on Detroit's east side, police said.
Detroit Police Officer Dan Donakowski said the fatal shooting happened at about 12:37 a.m. in the 15000 block of Coram Street near Hayes Street and Seven Mile.
He said investigators believe two suspects entered the house where the victims were and began shooting. He said police have no other information about the suspects.
The male victim was struck in the right shoulder, in the left side of his rib cage and in a leg, Donakowski said. He was taken to a hospital where he died from his wounds, police said.
Donakowski said the woman was struck in the buttocks area and is in critical condition at a hospital.
