Detroit’s Qline service suspended for utility work

The Detroit News

Detroit's Qline streetcars will be shut down as of 8 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 6, 2018 according to a rider alert.

The alert blames the cut in service on emergency utility work which will last until 4 p.m. Sunday.

This announcement comes after the first week of the service permanently extending its ridership hours to midnight, Monday through Thursday, 2 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays and 11 p.m. on Sunday.
