Carjacking victims have Buick, Bridge card stolen
Detroit – Police are investigating after a woman and a man had their Buick and Bridge card stolen Sunday morning in an armed robbery that the victims believe started with being followed from a coney island restaurant.
The carjacking took place at 5:20 a.m. on the 15800 block of Linnhurst, which is south of East Seven Mile and east of Morang.
The 51-year-old white female had her black 2010 Buick Enclave stolen, along with her food order, cell phone, and purse. A 23-year-old white male had his identification and Bridge card stolen.
The victims told police they were followed from the Coney Time restaurant, a 24-hour restaurant, and then carjacked on Linnhurt, less than a mile away.
Two men in their 20 are suspected in the crimes. One man is described as skinny with a dark complexion and wearing a beard. He carried a handgun. The second is described as skinny and wearing a jogging suit and armed with a handgun.
The suspects are believed to have driven a red or burgundy Ford Taurus or Pontiac G6.
