The black Dodge Charger was driving on Joy Road and blew a red light, hitting the Impala on the driver's side.

The impact pushed the Impala into the Family Dollar on the 19800 block of Joy Road, where it came to rest.

Medics arrived and transported the woman to an area hospital, where she is listed in critical condition.

The driver of the Dodge Charger fled the scene.
