A semi-truck that was disabled and blocked off all lanes of eastbound Interstate 96 near Livernois on Monday morning has been cleared out.

A Michigan Department of Transportation camera on the freeway showed the truck at rest, perpendicular to the roadway, with a police vehicle, a tow truck and other vehicles behind it. The truck was disabled at about 10:15 a.m., per an alert from MDOT. Lt. Mike Shaw, spokesman for the Michigan State Police, said the semi truck is jackknifed.

Officials worked to clear the truck from the roadway, and freeway cameras show that traffic had been cut down to one lane and is moving slowly around the disabled truck.
