Man shot on Detroit's east side

Detroit — Detroit police are investigating a nonfatal shooting on the city's east side. 

Police responded Friday at 11:16 p.m. to 7 Mile and Van Dyke, where they found a 30-year-old male with a gunshot wound.

Police said the victim was picked up at the Coney Island and was privately taken to the hospital. He is in temporary serious condition.
