A 31-year-old man was carjacked of his Chrysler 300 at gunpoint early Sunday morning on Detroit's west side, police said.

The carjacking took place at 5:30 a.m. on West Chicago near Wyoming. The victim was stopped at a red light in his black 2009 Chrysler 300 when a black minivan pulled up alongside, occupied by the two men.
One of the men got out of the van and approached the victim's car from the driver side, telling him to "get out and get on the ground."
The victim complied, the suspect got behind the wheel, and the stolen Chrysler and the black minivan pulled off.
No suspect description was immediately available.
