2 sought in east Detroit store break-in

Detroit police are working to find two people accused of breaking into an east-side store last weekend.

Surveillance images of suspects connected to a breaking and entering reported at about 4:20 a.m. Sunday at JJ Beauty Supply in 12000 block of East Warren in Detroit.

Investigators say the pair opened a hole near the front entrance at JJ Beauty Supply in the 12000 block of East Warren about 4:20 a.m. Sunday.

Surveillance cameras captured the two clad in black-hooded sweatshirts stuffing garage bags with merchandise, “but when they heard security approach, they dropped the bags and fled the location on foot,” authorities said in a statement Wednesday.
