The two victims, 19 and 21 years old, were walking outside on the 1600 block of Buena Vista at 2 p.m. on  Feb. 16. That's south of Davison and west of the John C. Lodge Freeway.

An unknown vehicle pulled alongside the victims and started firing shots, said Dontae Freeman, social media manager for the Detroit Police Department. Both victims suffered multiple gunshot wounds before the vehicle drove off.

The 21-year-old victim died at the scene.

The 19-year-old victim was transported to an area hospital but died from his injuries.

On Tuesday, the Wayne County Prosecutor's Office charged  a Detroit man with first-degree murder, two counts of felony murder, armed robbery, carrying a concealed weapon, and felony firearm.

Neither court nor jail records show  the suspect has been arrested or arraigned, though there is a warrant out for his arrest.
