Detroit Police are investigating a break-in at a liquor store on the city's west side in which a vehicle was used to crash through a wall.
Officer Dan Donakowski, a Detroit Police Department spokesman, said the incident happened at 6:23 a.m. Friday in the 13000 block of West Chicago Road between Schaefer Highway and Meyers Road.
He said an unknown suspect or suspects drove an undetermined vehicle into the store's rear wall.
"It's unclear what was taken, but there was quite a bit of damage," Donakowski said. "And the store's inside was ransacked."
He added the store does not participate in the Detroit Police's Project Green Light program, a video crime monitoring system.
