I-75 reopens at 8 Mile after suicide attempt
Detroit — Interstate 75 has been reopened in both directions after being closed for hours because of a person attempting to harm themselves, Michigan State Police said.
The freeway was shut down shortly after 8 a.m. and remained closed in both directions, until around 11:30 a.m. according to the Michigan Department of Transportation.
On Twitter, MSP said the situation was resolved without injury.
"Great job by the troopers, DPD officers and Hazel Park officers on scene to get this person the help they needed," the tweet said.
