Stormy Daniels' Detroit performance rescheduled

The Detroit News

Stormy Daniels' date with Detroit is back on.

The porn actress, who said she had sex with President Donald Trump several years before he was elected, will appear at Truth Detroit strip club on April 11.

According to the strip club's Instagram, Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, had to reschedule her appearance due to illness. She had been scheduled to perform Wednesday.

Daniels was coming to Detroit as part of a national tour after news of her alleged pre-presidential affair. Trump denies the relationship.

Clifford filed a lawsuit last week in Los Angeles seeking to invalidate an agreement that prevented her from discussing the alleged sexual encounters. She argued the agreement, which she signed days before the 2016 presidential election, should be null and void because the president didn’t personally sign it.

The agreement was signed by Trump’s attorney, Michael Cohen, who said he paid Clifford $130,000 from his own pocket.

Clifford’s attorney, Michael Avenatti, said he has no doubt Trump knew about the agreement.

On Thursday, new documents showed a second lawyer with ties to Trump was involved in legal efforts to keep Daniels from talking about her alleged affair.
