Man carjacked on Grand River in Detroit

The Detroit News
A 37-year-old man was carjacked at gunpoint early Monday morning on Grand River, Detroit police said.
The man was walking to his 2003 black Buick Rendezvous on the 8000 block of Grand River — north of West Grand Boulevard, on the city's west side — when two suspects approached him from behind, said Officer Holly Lowe, a Detroit Police Department spokeswoman.
Lowe said one of the men held a handgun to the victim's head and announced a hold-up.
The victim complied, handing over the keys to his vehicle, his wallet, and his phone. The suspects then stole his vehicle and drove off.
No detailed suspect description was immediately available. Police are investigating.
