Suspect arrested after Thurs. gas station shooting

Detroit police arrested a 28-year-old man suspected in carrying out a shooting early Thursday at a Project Green Light gas station on the city's west side.
The shooting took place about 12:25 a.m. at a Sunoco gas station on the 21700 block of West McNichols, at Lahser.
Officer Dan Donakowksi said police noticed the 42-year-old male victim walking in the area. He was highly intoxicated and told police he'd just been shot at the gas station. He suffered a graze wound and was released after being treated at the scene.
Using a description of the suspect and his vehicle, which was culled from the Project Green Light footage, police pulled over the suspect a short distance away from the gas station. Police are hoping to release some video of the incident later Thursday.
