A 35-year-old man was shot in the head at a red light Saturday night on Detroit's west side, police said.

The shooting took place about 11:45 p.m. at Plymouth and West Outer Drive. As the man sat at a red light, a green Chevy Tahoe drove by in the opposite direction, and someone inside fired shots, one of which grazed the left side of the man's head.

He was privately taken to a hospital, and listed in stable condition. The suspects are only described as two armed men.
