Hearing set for Royal Oak man in two I-75 crash deaths
A Royal Oak man is scheduled to appear in court next week in connection with a car crash last year on Interstate 75 that killed two Oakland County women.

A probable cause conference was set for 8:30 a.m. May 7 in Detroit’s 36th District Court for Douglas Muller, 25, who was charged last week with two counts of reckless driving causing death, two counts of manslaughter and two counts of moving violation causing death.
The June 3 crash on southbound I-75 at Mack killed Shelby Seyburn, 22, of Commerce Township and Sydney Zaleski, 23, of White Lake, who were riding in the back of a Jeep that was struck during a chain-reaction crash caused by Muller’s “reckless driving,” the prosecutor’s office said.
A preliminary examination for Muller is set for 9 a.m. May 14 before Judge Kenneth King of 36th District Court.
Muller, who was arraigned Friday, received a $20,000/10 percent bond.
