Two men were shot multiple times Tuesday morning while being robbed at gunpoint after withdrawing money from a Comerica Bank ATM on the city's west side, police said.

The armed robbery and double shooting took place about 3:38 a.m. in the parking lot of the Comerica at West Chicago and Schaefer.

Police say the two victims, men ages 36 and 48, had withdrawn money from the ATM. There was a dark-colored SUV in the parking lot, possibly an older model black Chevy Tahoe or Suburban. Four men in all-black clothing got out and forced the victims to the ground and shot them.

The 36-year-old victim was shot twice in his left leg. After being privately taken to an area hospital, he was listed in stable condition.

The 48-year-old victim was shot three times in his right leg, once in his right arm, and once in his left arm, and listed in temporary serious condition.
