Suspect sought in downtown Detroit armed robbery

Detroit police are seeking tips to find a suspect wanted in connection with an armed robbery reported downtown.

The man approached a parking attendant in the 300 block of Macomb about 1:30 a.m. March 25 and demanded money, investigators said in a statement.

After taking an undisclosed amount, he and another person fled in a black, early-2000s Jeep Cherokee, according to the release.

Anyone who recognizes him or has information is asked to call the Detroit Police Department’s Third Precinct at (313) 596-1532. Anonymous tips can also be submitted through the DPD Connect app or Crime Stoppers of Michigan at 1-800-SPEAK-UP.
