Suspect sought in nonfatal shooting in Detroit

Detroit police are asking the public for help to identify and find a man who shot and injured another man on the city's east side last month.
The suspect is described as African-American, in his late 20s or 30s, with a medium complexion, black hair and a long goatee. He was wearing a hooded sweatshirt, black pants and black and white gym shoes.
Police released a photograph and video of the suspect.
Officials said the incident happened at about 4:40 p.m. April 5 in the 14000 block of East Eight Mile near Greenfield Road.
Police said the suspect approached a 29-year-old man and fired a shot at him, striking the victim in the foot.
The suspect then fled the scene, according to authorities.
