After a semi truck hit an overpass on westbound Interstate 94 at West Warren Thursday morning, lanes of the roadway were blocked off, but as of early Thursday afternoon all lanes are again open to traffic.

The Michigan Department of Transportation sent alerts regarding the crash on Detroit's west side early in the 9 a.m. hour. The video feed showed a white semi truck disabled in the roadway.

It turns out the truck hit an overpass. After the truck was cleared from the freeway, an MDOT crew inspected the bridge to ensure its integrity.

Warren Ave, the location of the overpass that was hit, is still open to thru traffic.

Lt. Mike Shaw of Michigan State Police says the truck driver is considered responsible in such crashes. There were no injuries in the crash.
