Detroit police are investigating after two women from Troy, ages 20 and 21, claim they  were sexually assaulted and forced to smoke crack cocaine late Tuesday in a home on the city's east side.

Six people, ranging in age from 24 to 65, were arrested at the home, on the 13500 block of Mitchell, on unrelated charges. The area is north of East Davison and east of Joseph Campau.

The women told police they came to the east side to "score drugs," and that a young man on a bike pointed them to the home on Mitchell.

The women claim they were made to smoke crack and were sexually assaulted. The 20-year-old woman was able to escape the home, wearing only a blanket, and called 911.

Police arrived and arrested six people.

The arrestees are: a 24-year-old man, a 47-year-old man, a 65-year-old man, a 58-year-old man, a 62-year-old man, and a 55-year-old woman.

Officer Holly Lowe, a Detroit Police Department spokeswoman, said information was not immediately available on why the six people were arrested.
