Man shot in bicep in west side drive-by

A 26-year-old man is recovering after being shot in his right bicep in a drive-by early Thursday on Detroit's west side.

Police said around midnight Thursday, the victim was standing on a corner at Gladstone and Rosa Parks, south of Clairmount, when a car pulled up and someone inside started firing shots.

At least one of them hit the man in his right bicep.

The victim was privately transported to an area hospital, where he is listed in stable condition.

No information on the type of vehicle the shooter used or of the shooter was available.
