$2,500 reward for tips in fatal Detroit hit and run
Crime Stoppers of Michigan announced a $2,500 reward for tips in a fatal hit-and-run in Detroit.
Curtis Johnson was walking to work when a vehicle struck him about 8:30 p.m. Feb. 12 Gratiot near Seven Mile on the city’s east side, then kept driving north, investigators said in a statement.
The 59-year-old was hospitalized for more than a month before dying from his injuries on March 28, according to the release.
If Crime Stoppers receives a tip that leads to an arrest before 12:01 a.m. Friday, the group plans to add $1,000 to the reward.
