Police: Detroit mom, her 2 children found safe
Police have locateda Detroit mother, who suffers from schizophrenia and bipolar disorder, and her two childrenwho went missing Friday night.
Ashley Forehand, 27, and her children Amari, 1, and Autum Robinson, 2, were last seen by the children’s father, Demell Robinson on Friday around 8:00 p.m. at a gas station in the 8300 block of Woodward.
Detroit police said the family was located on Saturday and all are safe.
Demell Robinson told police that he met Forehand at the gas station to give her food and gas money. She left in her black, 2006, Jeep,Liberty, with license plate 1MEE42, with their two children inside and failed to come home. Police said it is not the first time Forehand has been missing.
