Cops seek car in hit-and-run of Detroit girl, 2
A 2-year-old girl is in critical condition after she walked into an east side Detroit street and was struck by a car, police said.
Investigators are looking for the vehicle and its driver, officials said. Police have no description of the vehicle or its driver at this time, they also said.
The incident happened at about 9:45 p.m. Monday in the area of Van Dyke and Emily Street, according to authorities.
Police said the little girl was at a block party in the area with her mother when she entered the street and a vehicle struck her.
The girl was privately conveyed to a hospital where she is listed in critical condition, officials said.
