Detroit police seek suspects in liquor store robbery

The Detroit Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating three suspects wanted in connection to an armed robbery that occurred on the city’s northwest side.

 

Detroit police are asking the public for help to identify suspects who robbed a liquor store on the city's northwest side last month.

Officials said the robbery happened at about 2 a.m. on May 30 at the Crown 7 Liquor store in the 18000 block of West Seven Mile near the Southfield Freeway.

 

Three men entered the store, approached an employee and announced they were robbing the business, according to authorities.

One of the suspects was armed with a shotgun, police said. Another stood watch and the third man removed money from the store's cash register.

On Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at approximately 2:00 a.m., three suspects (black males, 20's) enter the Crown 7 Liquor Store located in the 18000 block of West Seven Mile Rd.

 

The three men then fled on foot in an unknown direction, officials said. No one was injured.
